After viewing their ad in Ad Pages, I decided to check it out. The little place, located in a strip center in the south west corner of Marsh and Trinity Mills, Los Primos may be short on decor, but the food more than makes up for it! You receive fresh chips and salsa as soon as you are seated. Their lunch specials change daily and are terrific in addition to being incredibly reasonable. Portion size is very generous. I had the Monday lunch special which was the quesadilla plate. It was not just a cheese quesadilla as it included your choice of chicken or beef, sides of beans, rice, and a small scoop of both guacamole and sour cream completed the platter. I added a diet coke and the total cost of lunch was $7.00. Everything is very fresh and very authentically Mexican. I recommend it and will definitely go back! According to the sign in the front window, they also offer fresh pork or chicken tamales by the dozen for $10.
