Dissapointing. This was not very good Chinese food, General Tso was not typical sauce, Rangoons were over cooked and then pad Thai wasn’t spicy or that good. Plus we ordered four dishes and got two fortune cookies, cmon.

Can’t believe that we paid for it!. Decided to try something new on a rainy day and I must say that I will never do that again! Portions were so small for $10 bucks a plate. Most of my general Tso plate was rice with about 8 pieces of chicken and the fried rice was flavorless and mushy! Gross…guess we will be throwing the rest out and getting something else later. What a waste!

Don’t listen to customers. I am having a really hard time understanding how this restaurant has such great reviews. It’s over priced for the quantity and the quality of the food and they don’t follow instructions when a customer places an order. My husband ordered a duck curry- they delivered the curry but forgot the duck? I ordered a chili basil shrimp dish with jumbo shrimp… it was extremely sweet (even though I requested spicy) and the shrimp had the shells on. Apparently you have to request that, but as first time order-ers, we weren’t aware of this. Anyhow, I was so disgusted by it I ended up ordering from China One (amaaaazing and fresh). I would suggest dining in versus taking out, if you’re really keen on trying out this restaurant.

Bad service. Due to bad service I actually never got to try the food. They did not show up with my delivery order before close, although they did refund my card promptly. Will try again

Secret Recipe by Krysztof Capuras 3rd Period. Out of all the restaurants, I chose Secret Recipe. I went there because I enjoyed Asian food and their selection of food looked delicious. I also chose this restaurant because it is not a chain restaurant, which means it is more unique. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was hungry enough to eat a horse. The restaurant overall was great, with enjoyable food and the service was mediocre. The food was great! I ordered chicken sate, crispy fish filet in sauce, and crispy pork. The chicken sate was very juicy and created a great flavor with its various mix of spices. It came with peanut sauce, but I neglected to use it because the chicken sate already tasted good enough. The orange sauce they used in the crispy fish filet was sweet-sour sauce.. The crispy fish filet was basically a fillet covered and fried with bread crumbs, drizzled with sweet and sour orange sauce. All of the food came with rice, a standard in many Asian restaurants. The crispy pork could have used a bit more flavoring. They put the sauce on the plate before putting the pork, instead of the other way around. The pork was crunchy, but lacked flavor unless you put some of the sauce on it. I feel like they should have put the sauce first so it would have more time to soak into the meat to make it taste a million times better. It pretty much tasted like a flavorless chunk of meat. Overall I would give the food five stars because even though the crispy pork was mostly bland, at least it had some sauce that you could use.The service was mostly good. I noticed that there was very little communication between the customers and the employees. It was mostly a self-serve restaurant, so I had to get my own drinks. They served each food separately. I didnt like this because we the chicken sate before the rice, so I could not eat it with rice. The first food to come came five minutes twenty-six seconds. The rest came within 15 minutes. The restaurant was very clean and not too noisy. I did think that it was a bit dark because they used dim lights. This is my reason for some of the pictures looking a bit dark. It had a neutral atmosphere because they didnt seem necessarily inviting, but neither were they unfriendly. They were like a bored kid at school who just wanted to get through the day.. I would give their service four stars because they need to attention to their customers more.Overall, I would give them five stars. The food was top notch, the service was fine, and most importantly, it wasnt too noisy. I liked that the most. It really annoys me when I go somewhere and I have to yell in order for someone to hear it.

Secret Recipe. Their Mee Goreng is awesome. Mee Goreong is nothing but stir fried yellow noodles cooked in Asian sauce, eggs, veggies, tofu and sea food like shrimps. The quantity is however less. So you might have to order an appetizer if you are two people dining. I would recommend Roti Canai with chicken curry as an appetizer. Try it only if you like Asian/Indian spiced curries. For people with lighter preference, this would not appeal much. Their sweet tea is also quite good. On the whole, the restaurant is good. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Their staff is helpful, service is prompt. Wish they did something about the smelloh yes! when you enter, there’s this gush of warm, spiced air that welcomes you. But once you sit, look around, watch the TV, and become comfortable, it doesn’t bother you much.

Amazing food! The owner is in the kitchen with the cooks, serving food and making sure guests are comfortable. The cooks know you, may not know your name but acknowledge that you’ve been there before. It’s like eating at home. The only thing better than feeling like you’re eating at home is eating food that tastes home cooked. Amazing food. Thanks Alex!
