  This is a excellent local chain. The service was great, even though we here at dinner time. the server was prompted and attentive.. I had the ribs that were falling off the bone. with a great balance of smoke and BBQ, another member of our party had a steak that was prepared as ordered.. Even though this is a chain it is far better in quality and service than outback or other chains. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Dallas area

  Came here for lunch and got some apps and drinks. Mom got a margarita, she said it was very good. We got the artichoke dip and the ranger rattlers. They were so delish! A jalapeo stuffed with a shrimp and melted cheese. Omg so good! The staff was so friendly and everyone was very efficient. Our server, Ladairus was absolutely fabulous. He was very efficient and friendly.

  I usually like SaltGrass but this experience was very disappointing at this location. I guess the management has changed. The service is good but the ingredients they used were not fresh and some were burned. I ordered the crab avocado stack and the avocado was very discolored and looked very unappetizing. I also had the steak fries with my meal and some of the potatoes were rotten and burnt. I think they need a new cook that cares/knows about the appearance and quality of the ingredients in the dishes

  3-8-15 Good customer service 9 out of 10. Overall cleanliness 10 of 10 decor 9 of 10 taste and presentation 9 of 10 appetizer Range Rattlers (shrimp-stuffed jalapeno peppers) great taste large size not very spicy prefect with house ranch. My wife Teresa had the 6oz Maudeens center cut filet cooked medium Perfect grill marks this thick cut of meat was evenly cooked all the way through. Perfectly seasoned Teresa describes the flavors as salty/savory and smooth (Teresa adds salt to everything but not this) she said this is the perfect steak. I Kenneth had the 12oz New York strip my favorite cut of steak cooked medium-rare prefect grill marks cooked evenly no fatty edges to discard this is a great cut if you want lean steak flavors rich beef flavor with a hint of rosemary (I did have to add a pinch of salt) loved it! Real tender. Dessert the wife and I opted for the Brownie Skillet Crumble large portion plenty for two people great presentation great taste! Will be back and will be telling everyone one to go to saltgrass for the best stake!

  Management not trustworthy!!!. Recently my husband and I visited the Cedar Hill restaurant and we could not believe our experience. The hostess let us to our seat which was behind the wall near the fireplace, we asked if we could have another seat and she stated for us to lead her to where we wanted to sit. As we sat and had dinner we observed that she asked the customers who came in after us (on 4 occasions all white)their preference and she never offered them the area in which we were seated. Of course our area was only filled with non whites. I asked to see the manager and I expressed to him what I had observed. He assured me that this was not their practice and that he would speak with the hostess. Several other customers(non white) entered and were seated in our section and were not given a choice of seating. After we finished dinner I asked to speak to the manager again and stated my concern again, he stated that the area in which we were seated was the only opened area at this time, due to it being close to closing. As we were leaving two white customer entered and were seated in the area he stated was closed. I am disturbed by this experience and also by the manager blatantly lying about the seating arrangements. It is so sad and disturbing that in 2014 segregation still hides it’s ugly head and we are paying for it. I will never enter this restaurant again and for those who are reading this , please beware!!

  Good food. I been there several times, i like there so much. unfortunally that i moved out. and can’t go back there again. i want to go there a more time so bad. the food is sooooooooooooooooo delicious.
