  • Great Beer Now!

With two young elementary school- age girls in the house, finding a restaurant that is kid- friendly is often a priority. One restaurant that fits the bill is All Stars Family Grill, located near Richmond, Texas.First, lets talk about the food. All Stars Family Grill specializes in American- style foods with a menu that features appetizers, burgers, soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches, and a handful of entrees. You place your order at the counter, find a seat, wait for your buzzer to go off, and then walk to the counter to carry the food back to your table. The food itself is okay, but nothing to get excited over. I usually order a wrap or a burger when I visit and while they are not the best in town, they are good enough for a quick meal. The food is ordinary, which means it will suit the tastes of kids just fine but more discerning adults will find it a little too plain. For beverages, All Stars Family Grill serves all- you- can- drink soft drinks plus beer and wine. The beer options are limited, but I suppose they are not too bad for this type of restaurant. I saw at least a couple good bottled beer choices when I last visited and that is enough to rank this restaurant above many others in its class, at least in the beer department. Probably the main reason to visit All Stars Family Grill if you have kids is the entertainment options. The restaurant has a video game area and there are two separate outdoor play areas, with one designated for kids age five and under and the other for kids age six to twelve. This is a great idea, because it means that parents of very young children will not have to worry that their little kid will get injured by a bigger kid. The older kids have their own outdoor play area where they can rough it up a little more and not bump into the smaller kids. All Stars Family Grill has a large meeting space, available by reservation, for gatherings and celebrations. They can divide the room into as many as three smaller rooms, and this makes it a popular choice for childrens birthday parties. Kids do like it here and this is reason enough to give All Stars Family Grill a try. Its not going to impress most adults for its food, but the sandwiches, burgers, wraps, etc. are good enough and, coupled with the entertainment value for the kids, makes All Stars Family Grill worthy of an occasional visit. greatbeernow.com

Me and my family went here frequently, I have never experienced anything terrible, I always get a burger and find it meets my standards. I would recommend it if you are looking for a relaxed place to eat.

Extremely Dissapointed. We had friends say they have been here numerous times and enjoyed it so we thought we would try it out instead of our normal burger joint. Sunday afternoon and the place was dead, playground was nice for our daughter, so a good start. Two entrees and a kids meal for $30? That was my first sign I had made a terrible mistake, expecting their food to be outstanding I sat and waited to be served. 20-30 minutes later after watching the young lady at the cash register texting on her phone the majority of that time, our food was brought out and first bite was- cold burger and cold fries. The burger tasted like charred ashes and the inside was so overcooked it was white and chewy. Bottom bun was soaked up in whatever liquid it came into contact with and the fries were barely edible. My wife’s wrap didn’t have any ingredients that I could make out by my naked eye but supposedly it had bacon on it. I say bacon, because it was on the menu but what it looked like was jellied fat that had been scooped out of the bottom of the refrigerator with a spoon. Her tater tots looked like they had been cooked in grease that hadn’t been changed in a month, oily and very dark/ burnt looking. After I spit that out I decided I was full and we left as quickly as we could. The positive was the playground for our daughter, other than that we wouldn’t have stayed past the jelly bacon. I don’t think I’ll make it back here again.

ICK. My husband and I walked in and there was a teenage girl sitting on the counter where the food come’s out of the window. Our food was served on the most disgusting tray’s. My burger was raw and his steak tough as shoe leather. We asked to speak with a manager and the high school girl that was sitting on the counter texting informed us very rudely her name was Cristine and she was the manager. She didn’t ask us if we’d like to order anything else she handed our money back and could’ve cared less. At one point we even saw her making out with a busboy right in the dining room! Most of the table’s had not been cleaned off and they were not busy at all. Will never go back here.

I love this place so much!. I have been to this restaurant quite a few times because I enjoy it so much. The atmosphere is a great place for kids and families. I extremely love how there is free ice cream. We have never been to the buffet in the morning so we decided to try it out. I really enjoyed it. My favorite part was making my own omelet. I love cheesy eggs and the pancakes just hit the spot! I will definitely be back again for breakfast/lunch/dinner!

Will never go back. The chicken on our salads was the precooked and frozen type of chicken and then thawed and shredded and added to the salads. The salads had way too many onions for our taste. If you took the winer out of the kids corn dogs and put them together, you might get the length of one hot dog. The fruit was canned and fresh fruit mixed together.
