Disappointing!! I love the actual burger bus in town. But this place is very over-priced and not very fresh tasting. Sadly won’t be returning.
The visit here did not seem as good as when we used to chase the bus around. The buns are too big and the patties too small. The taste is good but the proportions are off. The service was very good. The field trip shake was outstanding.
I was craving a good & juicy meat burger! Tired the The cheerleader Burger.. The crispy jalapeos and slow roasted garlic tomatoes on the burger were perfect. Every bite was amazing! The Trufflelaced Fries were another plus!
Burgers and hand cut fries are made in house, plus they get their bread from a local bakery! I love the Cheerleader burger (usually add a runny egg and bacon to it!) and the fry options are ALL great – truffle laced fries? Yes please. Lunch lady fries are my new favorite- topped with brown gravy, slow cooked brisket, white cheddar, cheese curds and green onions? Yum. The chili cheese fries are simply the best. Why? They aren’t packed with msg and overbearing saltiness, they have a subtle sweetness to them which confirms their homemade claim! The price you pay is for quality people! Everybody needs Bernie’s in their lives if they are burger fans…if you even consider Burger King and Whataburger to be superior in ANY way..then you’re wrong. Again, you got to pay for quality.
