It was OK, won’t be back. Food was mediocre, service was mediocre. There are better hibachi places in Katy, like Atami, that give you higher quality and quantity for your buck.
I don’t recommed going here if you have something to do afterward. This place is not staffed to handle large groups. With 6 Hibachi tables filled with different parties, they had 1 chef. Prom kids and parents beware.
Have no reason to go back again. The restaurant has great curb appeal and that’s it. The sushi was fried. I’ve never had fried sushi. It didnt say it was fired in the menu. The spicy tuna salad wasn’t what the traditional spicy tuna salads I’ve had at other sushi restaurants. The yaki soba was pretty good but i can get a great yaki soba at the Cravings Grill in Fulshear.I will not go back there again-ever!Tommygun
Disaster. This place is a disaster. You make a reservation on a Saturday evening for 6 people for Hibachi at 7.30pm, unfortunately my Wife’s birthday. You arrive at 7.30pm – sorry you have to wait, so we wait. 7.45pm you are seated, you wait 30 minutes with no acknowledgement whatsoever, you then start to chase the hostess around the restuarant. You finally order drinks and a some sushi to start, 1 hour after sitting down, no sushi and absolutely no sign of a ordering Hibachi and no sign of a Hibachi chef being ready any time soon. People seated opposite have been waiting an hour also and no sign of any food and their kids are asleep at the table. We left without eating. I tried to reason with the hostess on my way out and the mantra is ‘everyone comes at once’ this clearly irritates me even further given they are taking walk-ins and making people with reservations wait.This is clearly a business that is a cash generating machine and has lost all focus on its customer facing element.If you want my advice – go to the 3-Olives a couple of doors down, seated straight away, attentive waitress, starters on the table woithin 10 minutes and entrees 15 minutes later – great food – great service.I’ll be going back to Atami on Mason Road for Hibachi from here on in.
Sushi is the worst. Went here and ordered Sushi. I ordered a party tray that came with a salad and soup. So I choose my salad and soup off the menu thinking I had a choice of these. The waitress didn’t know anything and didn’t even up writting up my ticket at the end. They brought me out the soup and salad I ordered plus another two soups and salads that came with the meal. They never told me that I didn’t have a choice. So I’m sitting there with several soups in front of me that I never finished but did have to pay for of course. The waitress usually tells you about these things but she didn’t know a thing. I was there with my sister and myself. Our Sushi tasted like the fish went bad along time ago and I know what fresh sushi tastes like I’ve lived in Japan for three years. We went on a Saturday night and no one was there, that should have been our first clue this place stunk. Don’t eat here!!! Very unfriendly and there staff doesn’t know anything.
Extremely overpriced for a mediocre hibachi dinner in Katy, particularly given that they sell the same dishes at lunch for less than half. Regret wasting a meal here.
Good food, but smaller portions than I expected. I left still hungry, but the food and overall taste was great.
