So many beers to choose from here. I don’t really come for the food so much as the beer but the food has been good when I have ordered. The place is small and seating is limited inside but there is outside seating. Service can be slow due to the amount of people here so be prepared for that (if it’s busy). I typically order a pizza from Grimaldis next door and bring it back to WOB. Atmosphere is always good and the place is usually clean. Great spot to hang out and have a few drinks.

You certainly do not go here for the food. However, as far as pub food goes, this stuff is not bad. The mac and cheese was extraordinary. We will pass on the sausage plate next time though. The sausage was just not good. There is a better than decent beer selection to chose from.
Everything is bigger in Texas and one place that defines the word big from a beer selection perspective is World of Beer Katy. Founded in Florida, World of Beer is spreading quickly across the USA and is a great place to visit for connoisseurs of the suds.First and foremost, World of Beer in Katy is a place to visit for beer. There are several hundred selections available, with some on tap and the bulk in either cans or bottles. Youll find Texas favorites and a wide assortment of beers from other parts of the country and the world. They continuously rotate the selections so no matter how many you have already tried, there is always something new and interesting.World of Beer Katy didnt serve food when it first opened, but it now has a full kitchen serving appetizers, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, and a few desserts. The options are standard pub fare and most are pretty good. My personal favorites are the Flat Iron Steak and Chipotle Chicken Sandwiches served with tator tots. They make a great match with beer and I like that World of Beer includes style recommendations so you can pair the food with just the right brew. World of Beer Katy is a place for beer more than anything and as long as customers keep that fact in mind, they should enjoy their visit. Dont come here expecting an out- of- this- world gourmet meal because you wont get it. World of Beer isnt that type of place. Its a place for good, American style food and excellent beer, above all else. One thing I wish was different at World of Beer Katy is the interior layout. Its a little tight and narrow and Im often stuck sitting at one of the high top tables due to lack of options. But other than this, World of Beer Katy is a place worth seeking out if you love craft beer. Where else can you spend more time deciding which beer to try than actually drinking the beer? Pretty good. Very friendly staff and a pretty decent sized beer menu. Great chill spot. Wish they served food but for just a beer bar, it’s a great environment and drinks aren’t terribly priced. You may find better places to drink in Houston, but not in katy. If you don’t feel like taking the half hr trip inside the loop, this is the place for you suburbanites to hang and toss a few back.
