Half Price Burgers. My wife and I ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers at lunch which are supposed to be half price. We also substituted the cheese grits and asparagus for the fries. We also had grilled onions put on our burgers instead of the raw onions. They charged us $3.00 per burger for the grilled onions. Another $8.00 for the asparagus. The bill came out after tip I paid over $30.00 for 2 people at lunch what a rip-off. We brought it up to the manager. She acted if she could careless. I will never be back. Place sucks.

Absolutely Atrocious. I can’t remember ever having paid so much money for such awful food.

Superb dinner meeting. I recently booked a dinner meeting at JR’s because of its convenient location between Dallas and Fort Worth. It was my first experience here. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff went out of their way to put us at a quiet table and the meeting was very productive. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. The seafood appetizer of shrimp, calamari, and crab cakes was excellent. I had the fillet and it was cooked precisely as requested and was flavorful and tender. I would highly recommend JR’s.

Wife and I wanted a late lunch and if I’m voting, their steaks are the best we have ever had !! Can’t wait to come back and try more of there menu … John the manager was nice and took time to chat with as .. As we had never Been there before great people all around.

AWFUL AND AWFULLY EXPENSIVE. Place is a ripoff. Steaks were not cooked properly and the workers here are just lame. Ordered a filet mignon and it was fatty as heck. Gross. Never given refills on water and they tried to overcharge us with someone else’s bill. Avoid. Many better steakhouse options in area…ie Kirby’s Bobs Dinos etc with more seasoned staff and laid back atmospheres.

Anniversary Dinner Experience. My husband and I tried JR’s Steakhouse for the first time tonight. We’re so glad we did! I had the wedge salad, fillet and lobster and my husband ordered the grilled ribeye. Our steaks were tender, prepared to our request and very flavorful. The Austrailian cold water lobster tail was a fully cooked 8 oz and did not disappoint…texture was smooth and flavor buttery on its own. Our server, Daniel, was a 6 year veteran and he did not miss an opportunity to make our evening feel special. He offered knowledgeable recommendations on wine/meal pairings and knew the menu details to the letter. We received a special surprise at the end of the evening…a shared dessert of JR’s fabulous (and creamy) NY style cheesecake with chocolate drizzle and fresh berries. Note for wine lovers: While the wine list is not deep, it does offer a good breadth of selections from US and global destinations in several pricepoints. Cheers for supporitng some of the boutique and long time winners from the Alexander Valley! J bubbles, Jordan, Silver Oak! Nice!

My husband and I both got the ribeye. It was very fatty and difficult to cut. The entire table received each others steaks which varied from rare to medium which called for pass the plate. The service was very average and A tip of 20% was added so no extra efforts were made. The crab cakes were very good. I would not return. The food and service did not merit the high prices. Worst steak ever!
