Date of Event: May 05 2018I live in Houston. As organizer for my son’s wedding reception in Grapevine, the Colleyville Market Street bakery was highly recommended by a very close friend (Colleyville resident, and Market Street customer) as the place to order the wedding cake. I was assured by my friends, and the bakery, of the quality and their delivery service. I personally visited with the bakery staff twice, and called several times to ensure everything would be perfect – and I was assured it would be. All payments were made on time.To my dismay, my guests complained about the quality of the cake (the 2 tiers of white cake were under-cooked / under-thawed). And the delivery was botched – it was delivered earlier than planned but we took that in stride; they refused to decorate the cake with the flowers (which was made available as previously agreed).Market Street has not responded to my queries:- Called the Bakery Manager on May 08 and gave them details. I have had no call-back to date.- Wrote a letter to the Bakery Manager on May 10, with copy to the Store Manager – no response to date.- Provided online feedback / complaint on their HQ / Group website – no response.I am not sure if the lack of response is because I live in Houston, and they believe I will not be a repeat customer. This was the only bad experience for my guests that evening, a reception which was meticulously planned with a lot of different vendors.

There are more than enough high end grocery stores in the Colleyville/Southlake area… WholeFoods, CentralMarket, Sprouts, FreshMarket, TraderJoes (opening soon in 2015) and MarketStreet. I’ve been in all of them and none are as good as MarketStreet in every way including quality, choice and price. Their Vegetable, Fish and Meat Markets are incredible, loaded with outstanding options. The brined Texas Tumble Chicken in Ancho Chili Lime is my favorite of the proteins. The prepared foods section is a routine dinner option for us, so much better and healthier than fast food joints. The employees are genuinely appreciative and quick to assist. I don’t buy staples such as toothpaste, deodorant, bread or cereal there, that’s what WallyWorld is for… but if we’re going for veggies, meat or fish, then it’s MarketStreet!

Best brownies in town!!!!. Let me preface this by saying I am not a brownie person. I do have a sweet tooth and love great quality baked goods. I picked up a german chocolate brownie at Market Street for my husband. He raved about it and wanted me to try it. It was out. of. this. world. Amazing!!!!!! It has the perfect consistency, wonderful flavor and yummy chocolate curls covering the top of the brownie. They have a large variety of brownies and other baked goods too! Great job Market Street!!!

Kinda pricey yet worth it. Really great fresh bread of all kinds of varieties imaginable. Cranberry Walnut bread is awesome toasted as is the good and grainy bread in the oven with a piece of cheese and a slice of tomato on top. Hint…buy the expiring bread and save 40% off. Typically gives you three days before bread goes south. Rest of store is nice. Great seafood department. Friendly staff and very clean store. Enjoy!
