I stopped here for a quick bite to eat before heading to enchanted rock. The menu was limited and I got a chicken burger. It did not disappoint. When it came to my table, it was almost too hot to eat which is good! You go in and seat yourself then a waiter will come serve you. The service was alright, but nothing special. This place was good.
Loved this bistro!. Can’t wait to return! Creative menu and really delicious food. I had the piggy platter with tremendously tender pork. I’d love to order it again! The Becker Tempranillo wine from Texas was a wonderful compliment. My friend enjoyed her red fish dish. And, we both loved the chocolate bread pudding dessert.
Incredible. My husband and I wanted a nice place to have our anniversary dinner, but I’m gluten free and a vegetarian. I called ahead and spoke with the chef/owner and he said he’d come up with something nice for me. We arrived, although we thought it was at 814 High Street, which caused a little confusion, to a quint restaurant with only about 10 tables. We were greeted warmly and had an incredible experience all around. I ordered a bottle of the Meiomi Pinot Noir, and started with the grilled beet salad. It was SO good, I ordered SECONDS. My husband raved about the crayfish cakes… RAVED. For my entree the chef served me a vegetable risotto that was DIVINE. He also served a fritata, but eggs aren’t my thing, so he quickly sent out an order of the petite potatoes… which I could LIVE off of. My husband ordered the strip… medium. It was cooked to perfection. Our entire evening was remarkable. I can’t say enough good things about the food and service.
Questionable at best. If you are going to have less than a page size menu make sure that what you can make is amazing. The spinach soup was bland and tasteless. The burger I ordered was intially burnt on the outside and in fact they didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked. However, on the insider was a tasty medium rare. the side of red potatoes was ok. My wife ordered the feteccuni alfredo which was lacking any sense of taste. I had to add salt and pepper several times over and it was still bad. i mean awful. Def not going back because lack of diveristy of the menu and lack of quality food. Service was good.
Great burgers, enthusiastic service, pleasant atmosphere!
Same ole Soup. Been there many time and same ole soup in many variations but always Tomato. Everyone in town ask, do they serve anything other than Tomato? Awesome flavors… Very good service. Unexpected fine dining in a little country town.
