Great Lunch. My husband and I were antiquing in Comfort and decide to try High’s. It is a great place for lunch. I had a house salad with tuna. The salad was very fresh. Topped with strawberries, almonds and a light dressing. My husband had a cup of the bean soup( special of the day) and a greek salad. The soup was excellent and the salad had chunks of feta, tomato, cucumber and onions. This is a small restaurant that also has gifts and local art. This is a definite repeat.
Perfect quick lunch. We stopped here on our way back to Corpus from Fredericksburg after finding it on a Texas Monthly write up. We wanted something lighter and loved that we could sit outside. We got the chicken salad sandwich, pimiento cheese sandwich, pickled veggies, and chicken soup. All of it was outstanding and ready super, super quick. The best pimiento cheese I’ve ever had and I could eat a whole bowl of those pickled veggies. We loved that everything was very unique. Wish we had a place like this back home!

Yum. Had lunch here on my way though town, the food was really fantastic. Lots of fresh and even organic food choices. Nice outdoor patio for relaxing.
