Passionate about Chocolate!.. Everything here is good! I would not have thought a place like this could exist in Conroe! The chocolate is made on site in the kitchen and all the candies and desserts are fresh! The taste is always smooth and chocolaty – you don’t feel or taste any oils. Rivals Godiva.
The coffee and desserts are really good. Their regular food leaves something to be desired.
Really excellent food and drinks. Went for lunch and it was light and refreshing and tasted healthy. Staff were friendly.
Wonderful. Best chocolate and coffee in this town by far! My friend and I used to go here all the time together. Plus the atmosphere is wonderful. If you’re looking for a place to relax, talk and have some awesome chocolate, go here.24 Jul, 2009This place is great! I go here with my best friend a lot and the owner is really great. They’ve got the best chocolate cake and coffee in town
Asada Negro. Chocolate Passion recently brought in a new chef, and his asada negro dish is absolutely incredible! You will not be disappointed. While you’re there, don’t miss out on the passionfruit truffles, a wonderful combination of sweet chocolate and tart fruit.
I really like this restaurant . The owner is so gracious and the food was excellent .
Update: they painted the place yellow. Nice improvement.18 Feb, 2009Best Latin Food in North Houston. I would have said Best in Conroe but… well, you know… Chocolate Passion originally opened up as a coffee house and homemade Chocolate store. This is how my wife (the chocoholic) discovered it. They offer all manner of truffles and candies and Italian style coffees. Soon after opening they expanded to offer lunch and breakfast menus. Recently, they hired a cook from Mexico City and began serving early dinner as well. I have traveled extensively and I *love* Latin American style cuisine (from Cuban to Brazillian, to Columbian to Mexican) and these folks do it right. This is my wife and my favorite breakfast spot in Conroe. The latin breakfast touches are wonderful. The lunch menu consists mainly of sandwiches and salads and is very affordable although some of the plates are on the small side. And for dinner? Well, you have to try the Pabellon! And don’t forget about some chocolate and a cappuccino for dessert. The other thing I should mention: The atmosphere is wonderful. The owners and staff are very friendly and you would never guess that a nondescript grey building would house such a comfortable space. There is a small room for meetings as well. Our office has held lunch and afternoon meetings there on several occasions. Its a great place for a date although they are not open very late. (8am to 6pm Monday through Saturday.)Check them out at http://www.chocolatepassion.net. But their online menu does not contain even half of what they offer. Enjoy!
