Have gone here several times over the years. It has been declining steadily. It started out with our being in a nearby motel and needing dinner. Food and service was wonderful.The next year, the service was off and the food not as good. Another and it was worse.I thought it might be me but the progression of reviews mirror my experience.Not sure if I want to see if things have improved … as I fear they will not. This usually seems to be management losing its focus and vision. I hope they get better.

Not going back. I used to like Mama Juanita’s, but since I preferred other MX restaurants, I had not been in a couple of years. I tried it again recently…actually 2 times, & the food was horrible. I did not eat my greasy, large mass of rubbery ‘cheese enchiladas’. The guacamole seemed to have a chemical on or in it (maybe to keep it from turning brown?), but it definitely had a very strong chemical taste. Also do not care for their red sauce & they said they did not have pico de gallo. My family will not be back. $38 for lunch for 2…no alcohol, 1 tea.
