I have always wanted to go here but something always came up. Went here tonite and was disappointed. Wanted to see the show but would of had to wait 30 – 40 mins. so we just ordered a meal. When the meal came they gave us the wrong order from another table. I didn’t notice right away. Eventually I got the right meal and shrimp was chewy and the scallops were paper thin and fishy tasting. All in all I would give ot a 4 out of ten.
Food fine, Service OK, Management NOT. They have some decent dishes and the hibachi grill is pretty good. However, it’s hardly a place with a family atmosphere. I mean you can feel the tension in the servers (most likely from management), which definitely affects their service. I’m sure today will be the last time I go into the restaurant as I witnessed the manager jump on a server and run her out of the restaurant. Not only was it unprofessional but the language in public was uncalled for. I thought the server was doing a fine job and although all the details of the situation aren’t clear, the attitude of how servers are treated is crystal clear.
A Favorite of Mine in Conroe. My husband and I go to Wild Ginger pretty often, at least once a month, if not more. The food has always been top-notch and their sushi is excellent for the price (try the Shaggy Dog roll!) The best thing about it is that you can order from their hibachi menu without having to sit at the hibachi tables. You still get your salad, soup, and starters along with your hibachi-style entree. So if you’re just looking to have a nice dinner without the added show it’s a wonderful option to have.Personally, my absolute favorite there are the Yakisoba dishes. Very few hibachi places in the area even offer these wonderful noodle dishes, so it was great to see that Wild Ginger offered them. I order the Vegetable Yakisoba regularly when we go and it’s always chock-full of vegetables and flavor. On service, we’ve never had bad service. Our drinks are always kept full and our orders have never been wrong. So on this it just seems to be luck of the draw. Still, Wild Ginger is one of our favorite places to eat and we’d heartily recommend it to anyone!
I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I’m 20 years old and my mom offered me a drink of her drink and the bar manager was so rude to us about it. Last time I checked, this was Texas and your parent can serve you a drink if they wanted to. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction? This lady was so awful. We will never be back.
The food was good, the service was good, and the show was excellent! WAY more expensive than we’re used to paying for sushi and hibachi, though! Didn’t think the show was worth all the extra money.
Very nice awesome sushi, high quality fish and very well presented. The Simple miso soup but awesome was the start of a great meal. Highly recommended
Great!!. Great treat for mothers day. Fast service great food. Great green tea fried ice cream dessert. Great appetizers as part of their special. Would definitely recommend this and will be back. Hibachi shrimp were grilled perfectly, the steak was very tender! I do not understand all the negative comments as every part of the evening was great
