Damn good Mex. nice location at the airport. Had the cheese dip, the soup and very cold beer. Nice restaurant close to my gate. Service was very good. Very nice and a good place to eat and drink on a layover.
I give up. Always been a go-to place at Love. I have eaten there probably 100 times. Last week it took forever and my food was so cold. Bad. I gave it another chance today. Less time than normal, so I asked it they could have me out in 30 minutes. They assured me they could, and it was not busy. I sat and waited 10 minutes. No waiter ever came by. But they had 3 bartenders. For the 2 people sitting at the bar. I finally just left.
Better than average airport food. Ok service– very pleasant, but on the slow side (and the place was not busy). I sent a margarita back because it was insanely sweet– definitely not made only of tequila, Cointreau and lemon and lime juice, as the menu claims. More like sugar-drenched limeade. At least it’s not bright green. Server steered me to enchilada Veracruz, with chicken and spinach. acceptable airport fare, but falls short of special.
Management KEEPS lights in bar and restaurant so bright it looks like a cafeteria. Believe it or not people actually do NOT like being hit hard with a nasty bright light while trying to enjoy a drink or a meal – even at the airport!!
Not your normal Cantina Laredo. I normally love Cantina Laredo but this location fails on the food execution badly.
