  Halal. I love Thai food, and although I’ve had better, their pad Thai and minced beef were really good. I’ve never had Thai minced beef but I gobbled that down. Atmosphere is nice, soothing.

  Honestly the food is okay, but average based on other Thai restaurants in the Addison area. I will not return to De Rice because of their service and the fact they don’t value their repeat customers. I’ve been going to De Rice for years – lunch, dinner, and even weekends. Each time the wait staff displayed an indifference toward me the customer, had low energy, and in some instances were rude. I have dined in and do a lot of take out. I would call in my order or enter online, then pick up when they said it would be ready. Problem was that it wasn’t ready, in fact I started noticing that they didn’t start making it until I arrived for pickup. This results in an additional 20+ minutes to wait on an order that I had already waited on for 20+ minutes. A few times I presented a Money Mailer coupon which they would not honor, other times they would. They said they were going to have a buffet on weekend, but when I visited there for lunch on a Saturday – they said it was only for Sunday. The management plays this bait-and-switch game with the customer. Sometime they honor a coupon, other times they don’t. I’m done with them!
