The steaks are great. Have been here numerous times and never disappointed. Drink selection is great and atmosphere very intimate. Recommend always getting the chef recommendation of the night.

16 ounce Del Frisco rib eye. My rib eye last night at the Fort Worth Del Frisco’s was as bad as a steak could get. I did not want to send it back. With each bite I thought I would finally leave the gristle and get to a great steak. I finally left the last third on the plate.Three different people asked me how my meal was and I told them worst steak I ever had. The answer was, I’m sorry sir.Everything else was great; service, mushrooms, salad etc.

We had a party of 18 and service was perfect along with the food but best part of the service was the manager Andre.Snow storm no cabs and he took the last 4 of us in his car back to Hotel. Class act. 100%

On the fence. Half of my meal tasted wonderful, while the other half was meh. My steak was not cooked correctly, I asked for medium and half of my steak was cooked that way while the other half was almost well done. The side dishes did not arrive until a full 5 minutes after my steak, and again one was very good (brussles sprouts,) the potato dish I only ate one or two bites. The wait staff was very nice, but did not stop by very often, I assume because they were busy, not that they were rude. For the money I spent it all should have been wonderful.

No attention to detail, very over priced, loud and shabby. Del Frisco’s is known for its quality steaks, exceptional service and attention to detail. Our experience was anything but. The evening started out well with our table being ready at the time of our reservation. The VIP cocktail was nice and refreshing on a very warm Texas evening. The other member of our party ordered the seafood plateau for two. Absolutely ridiculous. Four of the smallest oysters I have ever been served. Four jumbo shrimp that were just on the edge of being overcooked. Two large stone crab claws that were less than fresh. And two three inch pieces of king crab. With mediocre dips. For $80. Seriously? It would have been overpriced at $25. I ordered a Cesar salad without croutons. I was served a Cesar salad with croutons. I ordered an 8 oz filet with the scallops. The other order was an 8 oz filet with the crab. We were asked to cut into the steaks to check the temps, which were what we ordered. After our server left, I started to cut my steak. It was not tender like their reputation would have suggested. I had to saw through gristle/tendon and never got through. Our server was happy to replace it, but by the time I got it back, the other guest’s steak was no longer hot as he had waited as etiquette dictates, even though I had insisted he continue eating. The scallops served with my steak were barely as big as quarters and were cold when the steak was returned. The crab on the other plate had was about half the size as the menu’s photo. We both ordered the Chateau potatoes. He had also ordered an extra side of spinach which was not brought with our meal. We had to find our waitress and ask it for after our entrees and potatoes were brought to the table. The management staff was quite nice, and came to our table to apologize. We both asked to take the remainder of our main course. We were brought separate bags, which were placed by our respective chairs. We were given the wrong bags which we didn’t find out until later that night. We had to meet the next morning to switch. To top the evening off, when I got into my car after the valet brought it around, it was blasting offensive rap. A lovely way to end an evening, because heaven forbid the valets should have to listen to alternative rock for the two minutes they’re in the car. I called the next morning and let the manager on duty know so future guests might not be inundated with loud swearing at the end of an evening and about our bag mix-up. He was quite embarrassed and was happy that I had shared the information. A couple of days later I received a thank you note from our server, but no mention of any of the issues, or any apologies, but she can’t wait to serve us again. I sent a letter to the corporate office, and again, no response. We dine at all types of restaurants, for pleasure and business, here and while traveling. We usually receive good to great service. When dinner for two exceeds $300, we expect exceptional quality, service and complete attention to detail. We didn’t receive it at Del Frisco’s that night.
