A very modern and upbeat Mexican restaurant. The menu offers all of the regular TexMex items but with a certain flair. There were six of us, including to young girls and there was something for everyone. The drink and beer selections are extensive. We all enjoyed the food very much
Had a graduation dinner here with family. We enjoyed quite a few El Santo’s during the evening along with our appetizers and meals. The shrimp ceviche is quite good and I enjoyed my tacos, one fish and one brisket. We were a party of eleven and at times there was a bit of a disconnect from one end of the table to the other. The wait staff did not tell one end the other had ordered both drinks and apps so the other end ordered just drinks. Not a real issue though and we as a group could have communicated to each other how we were ordering. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed. I would definitely come here again when I am in Dallas.
Amazing! Fresh Mexican food at its finest! Sit at the bar and get the BEST SERVICE EVER. Gracias to Monica!SIGHT: Upscale, Mexican establishment with a sleek modern design, open air kitchen, and long bar that spans the length of the restaurant.SOUND: Busy, busy, busy… even for a Wednesday night!TOUCH: Stainless steel mixed with blond wood, I recommend sitting at the bar where you can interact with the waiters and chefs as they prepare all of the dishes in an open air kitchen.SMELL: YUM. Grilled meats mixed with wafting hot jalapeno and chipotle scents in the air that tickle your nose.TASTE: At the bar, we had an AMAZING sampling of homemade salsas.Monica told us of a dedicated worker who contributed his mother’s recipes to create all of the homemade salsas served at Mesero’s. His passion is making his mother’s salsa and that’s his sole job at the restaurant. The mole dipping sauce was incredible. Warm, rich, smoky, flavorful…. with small hints of coffee and chocolate notes.Crispy corn chips and flour tortillas were served warm to sop up the wonderful sauces and salsas.Queso Mesero- queso chihuahua with fresh poblanos. I could eat with a spoon.Queso Tejano- cheddar cheese dip with bits of red pepper and pepper. YUM.Shrimp Ceviche- A must order. Delicate, sweet tiger shrimp served terrine-like with sliced tomatoes and avocado. A meal in itself. DELICIOUS.Mico 12 Strip a la Mexicana- Yummy, 12 oz strip steak well-seasoned and grilled served on a bed of charred, spicy fresh jalapenos and sweet onions. Quatro Leches Cake- If you are wondering what the fourth milk is like I was, it’s goat milk. Sweet, creamy concoctions of milks drenched a light white cake with white frosting.OVERALL RATING: 4.5 WHISKS/5.0 WHISKS whiskandtell.com
I love the guacamole, and the variety of salsa is good. The margaritas are on the stronger side and tasty. There is also a chicken soup on the menu I really love. The menu isn’t online. There’s also a delicious cake on the menu with five milks or something.I’ve always received great service, and I’ve only been for lunch. trendydallas.com
