The pancakes were okay, but the watery runny syrup ruined them. Over easy eggs were not quite done all the way through. Biscuits are good, but the gravy is not very good at all. The sausage in the gravy tasted like turkey sausage, with an unusual flavor.
Was not good. Pancake syrup was so runny I thought it was water. My omelette was overcooked. Hashbrowns where cubed potatoes on a plate. Nothing like the one on Midway. 🙁
Yummy Breakfast. I think it’s a job requirement to be super friendly and welcoming. This is the second OPH I’ve been to and the staff here were extremely nice, just like the other one.The pancakes are really yummy and I can’t complain about any of the food we got. However, my advice is to stick with breakfast foods. That’s their forte and they know how to do it right!I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area.
Very disappointing. Beautiful new location but menu is smaller, prices higher, service was horribly terribly SLOW. Over 30 min from order to food coming out. Don’t think I’ll be back.
I ordered a waffle house for $5.65 and it looked like it came from The Waffel House. The only good thing was that management allowed me to send it back for some real food.
Consistently blissful brunch. My husband and I having been going to Original Pancake House almost every weekend (and sometimes twice a weekend) since we moved to the area in September 2010. Through their overwhelming growth and move to the new location on Belt Line and Montfort, the staff has stayed committed to service and the food has retained the high quality we’ve come to know and love. We are never disappointed with our experience or our food – quite a feat for a restaurant we visit all the time!
