Unrefined Bakery is my new happy place. I am allergic to Gluten & Corn so I rarely get to enjoy treats unless I make them from scratch at home. Their cupcakes, sweet rolls and pies are so delicious. They taste and have the texture of the related sweet treats. My favorites are their pecan pies and carrot cake muffins.
I must say I’ve yet to find a cupcake shop that has come close to my go to cupcake place Sprinkles. Unrefined Bakery has come so close, if not right next to Sprinkles. I had the fudge brownie cupcake here and it was delicious. The inside of the brownie was very moist and not too gooey. Perfect amount of almonds as well! I’ve had many different flavors from Sprinkles, but this was my first cupcake here. My rating might change to a 5 once I try a few more! This is a definite sweet shop you must try!
