Love this understated farm to table restaurant in Deep Ellum. It’s hard to spot so look out for Rudolf’s meat market as its next door. Menu is seasonal & changes often but you can never go wrong here. Fantastic wine list. ittybittyfoodies.com

Service is awful. The place wasn’t busy at all and our waitress made us wait for quite a while to order. After we did order she was talking about us to the bartender within earshot. It was like being at Passive Agressive Dick’s Last Resort. Food was mediocre at best, but insanely expensive for what you get. Portions were fine, just not very good. My primary gripe is with the service. Terrible.

Not worth the price, not what we expected. Lack of seasoning. Service was rough around the edges. Food and wine subpar for a $100 tasting menu. Hostess continually stomping thru, very disruptiveWine and food didn’t come together. Small portions, ok for tasting, but not full Tuna tartar very bland, slightly fishy, not fresh tasting. Lacking salt and seasoningLamB Loin excellent flavor. Tender. Great flavor profile and seasoning Sea bass good! Risotto very good!!Salmon overcooked, not fresh. Summer peas chewy and flavorless. White ched grits good. Beef tenderloin marinated into sad submission then berated w/ overly sweet sauce which killer all hope of flavor. Candied meat? Faux smoke flavoring?Very avg meal, which was disappointing for the price. Wines subpar for price. The KC masterpiece of winesNever saw chef owner. Nice staff, but not knowledgeable or up to standards for a $300+ meal.

Chic little joint with great food and fantastic atmosphere. Extensive wine list does not make up for the absence of a full bar and the waitstaff could be a bit more attentive. 4 people = $550 bill. Overrated!

Good enough- but not twice. Hmm. 20 for food, 15 for atmosphere, 10 for value. The food was nice enough, but too small portions for the price. $29- for 2 scallops and a bit of potato risotto. $14- for a teeny tomato salad that had 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes. Again, good food, but no value here. The wine list is high without stand outs or value. It’s like they want me to feel good for paying silly prices for small portions and brag about it. Pity, it’s spare without charm . One time was enough.

Wonderful Dinner. We got lost trying to find the place – drove right by it the first time. But once inside we liked the fact we were not rushed, the portions were perfect, and the food was amazing. My wife had the filet and loved it and I had the scallops. The grits were surprisingly good. The fried green beans were tasty. The Ahi tuna could use another flavor to add some punch.
