We almost didn’t stick around when we first walked up because of the line out the door, but the people around us were frequent patrons and they said it was worth it. It was. First, the line moves quicker than it seems. They are very efficient with processing orders and moving people along..and we received our food within 5 mins from when we placed it. Second, the food is damn good. We had the brisket – so tender and yummy, sausage, fried okra, and collard greens. They have an impressive number of awards on their wall that span several years, and I can see why. Plus they’re in a great location, we had a nice walk with lots of shopping after the big lunch.
