Closed at 8:45 on a Saturday??. Walked in at 8:45 and they tuned us away.
Cheese pizza!. We love the cheese pizza. It beats any of the chain pizza places, and it is cheap! I have tried other things at the restaurant, but I am always disappointed.
I used to go here all the time, but only come now if I’m given the chance in the area to pop in for a visit while I’m seeing my Mom. We love to have the Stuffed Portabella Mushroom appetizer! Last Friday I came here with her during the weekend dinner rush, but there’s literally no Italian restaurants, or almost any decent restaurants in this city for that matter. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli Fiorentina and an Italian dressed salad. The salad was pretty basic, but the dressing was horribly imbalanced! It had way too much vinegar added, which is saying a lot because I adore vinegar! I was even more appalled when my dinner plate came to the table. I received only FOUR medium-sized pieces of ravioli! Now I’m a petite Sicilian gal, but if I was an average-sized individual I’d be upset. This is a $12 meal, and that’s before tip. At Carabba’s you can get 10 Lobster Ravioli for a couple dollars more; it satiates me for dinner, and I take home leftovers. Btw, Deer Park really needs to get with the program, and join the 21st century! I mean, what kind of Italian restaurant can’t serve you wine? I get that it’s BYOB, but my point is its annoying.
The original is the best Italian food in the area. Friendly staff. I drive 25 miles to eat at this place
Better than the one in La Porte. Awesome bread. Good food. Good prices. Fast take out too!
Fresh Ingredients, Great Pizza. Plenty of interesting Italian dishes rolling out of the kitchen, but despite all the temptations, I had to order the pizza!!!Really glad I did. Very fresh toppings, the crust worked as well, overall a very tasty pie.WARNING: No liquor in this restaurant and general neighborhood. BYOB if you want a beer or glass a wine with your pasta!!!Will come back again…be brave and try a pasta dish next time.Buddy
Antonio’s gets it right!. Not authenic Italian, go to Italy for that and you will find out that we get much more for our dollars here in the States. The Ribeye Marinara is always good, cooked to order and a great value. The homemade stuffed shrimp on the dinner are Great! and beat out 90% of the Seafood restuarants stuffed shrimp. The owners are friendly and talkative if the dinner crowd is slowing for the evening. I’ve only had one less than good experience and that was because I ordered something other than what I wanted by mistake. I chose not to have them correct this as it was my mistake but the waiter did offer more than once.
