Cattle Drive Good Food. Their Food is delicious, however they have gone up on all their prices at least 2 dollars more on each item. That’s the only negative I have to say about them. The Brisket House was charging more so I guess Cattle drive decided to do the same. The days of a 6.58 lunch or less are no more.Shane
Meh.. Stopped by for lunch the other day. Although I didn’t try everything, I can make a judgement on what i had. I thought the sausage was pretty boring – not much sausage flavor and not much smoke flavor. And the brisket was very disappointing. It was nice and tender, but didn’t have much flavor and there was hardly any smoke ring to it. I bet it wasn’t over a smoker more than 4 or 5 hours. If you can’t cook a decent brisket in Texas, you should close the doors. Likewise the sides I had were just OK. The beans were pretty good, and had nice flavor and texture, but the potato salad put me to sleep. My friend had a house special burger which was topped with ‘cue and he said it was pretty good, but he’s been there a few times and says he isn’t impressed with their BBQ, but it’s just about the only nearby BBQ joint, so he doesn’t have a lot of choices. Seems like there is potential there, they just need a wakeup call.
Best bbq I’ve had. Got cattledrive catering for a party and people are always asking about it. Good prices too. (If you liked John Wayne’s bbq try cattledrive!)
They cook all their meats to perfection, delicious every time.

Great turkey. Dropped in for a late lunch while in the area, its authentic. No dirt floor or anything. Good turkey, good sweet tea, I tried the green beans the other guy was raving about. They were a 7 on a 10 scale. At least they were not overcooked. Okra side order is a HEAPING HELPING. It was 104 today so I sat in the very back to keep kool. Downside is no recycling and disposo plastic wear
