Never Again!. Went to Aji Seafood Restaurant & Bar last night for my girlfriends birthday dinner (es mas). After waiting 5 minutes in the front to be seated, we proceeded to locate a table on our own. Finally got the servers attention, our drinks came covered with some sort of dirty sludge around the outside. Another HOUR for our food, it looked like they went to a fast food place to get it. Service was terrible, food over-priced and bland, management was neither here nor there. I highly un-recommend this establishment. Fail on so many levels…-3 out of 10
Awesome!!. I have eaten at this restaurant a few times great place to eat. The Rib Eye Ranchero itself it is very, very tasty and juicy. But what I liked the best about Aji is the atmosphere. It was comfortable and relaxing. I will highly recommend this restaurant.
Great Food! Its the best high end cuisine in south Texas.20 Nov, 2011My personal experience has been excellent! The selection and menu is what you would find in five star restaurants in Las Vegas, New York, Hawaii. Absolutely great. The red snapper and calamari are my personal favorites.
Not Impressed. From the service to mediocre food, I don’t see myself returning. If you want to be different and try to compete with the cuisine that’s imbedded in our Laredo culture, you need to make sure your food is on point each and every time. There’s no room for off days because that off day may be one person’s first impression. That was this case with me today. It may be a popular nighttime destination for drinks and music but money also needs to be made while the sun is out. It’ll take a lot for me to return and give Aji a second chance.
Great food, drinks, environment. I was very impressed with the food and unique cocktails when I dined there. I was skeptical at first, because most restaurants in Laredo do not have anything special to make me go back. However, I can definitely say that I will return to Aji because of the exquisite food and uniqueness that it has. The only slight negative comment would be the service and the time it took to get our food. Other than that, I will be returning soon!
