Love!. We had lunch at Bolillos for the first time yesterday and we loved it. The atmosphere is refreshing; very casual with bright Mexican decor and art. The food and service were wonderful despite a full house. My husband had the Milanesa with green sauce on top and I had the Tacos Callejeros. Great mexican cafe concept. We definitely recommend it to everyone.
Breakfast. We visited Bolillos for breakfast, and we were disappointed at the food and service. The first cup of coffee was old (we requested a new cup, and it was much better), the potato and egg was very greasy, the corn/flour tortillas were not hand-made, and the beans tasted like can beans. We drink our coffee with milk instead of cream, so we were charged $1.99 per half filled cup of milk (we were not informed, and we were charged for 2 = $4.00). We also waited a long time for coffee refills. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at Bolillos, and we will no recommend it or go back again.
Northside Bolillos is okay. The south side restaurant on the other hand taste much better.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!. I have been to Bolillos several times. I love the food and enjoy the atmosphere and decor. Waiting staff is very kind & attentive. I have had the wedge salad with chicken & the taco salad with beef fajita…. they are simply TO DIE FOR! Then for dessert, you can have a cakeland dessert. Definitely worth the visit!
Good quality. I have been there a couple of times, and I can say that the food is DELICIOUS, it is weird to find a place with high quality in mexican food with authentic mexican flavors, I have ordered the Tortas, the flautas and the chicken poblano, and is simply the best!, the chicken is well cooked, and the vegetables are soft and well cooked, simply LOVED THEM! definitely will go back again
