Worst Cust. Service. Gave this place a try with an open mind I was very displeased at the end. I ordered a mex. apple soda called la joya they didnt have. I ordered some beans for my chips they didnt make smashed beans type. I asked the server for the details on the contents of the fajita parillada mix supposedly was fajita, tortillas, ribs, brisket, and sausage. The fajita was ok, the ribs were great, the sausage not that great. The coca cola from mexico was really good. The bad part was the waitress could care less of your needs at the table like if its our fault their working there. No extra napkins provided, nor extra refills, and didnt even pick up the plates until we left. This place makes excuses for not having avocado or some type of sauce besides chili to go with the tortilla and fajita. Maybe the management is really incoherent or obtuse. This place could be good but they need a person with a set of skills to manage correctly.
Should Have…. I went there to eat the wrong food. I went a few days after their grand opening. My order was a brisket taco which was good but if I were being picky, the plating wasn’t all that great. There’s something about seeing so much empty plate that isn’t aesthetically pleasing. Their burger wasn’t too good. The patty tasted as if it were frozen, thawed in the micro, then grilled up. I’m not too sure as to why they would include avocado and mayo – too creamy/oily for my palate. The salsa included with the chips was great; the salsa quemada in particular. Here’s the kicker: This place is almost always packed every time I drive by. Turns out that I didn’t eat their more successful foods. As the name implies, they’re more of a carne asada place. I haven’t had the chance to try it out but if the crowds say anything, it’s that they have some great fajitas.
