Good stuff. TaaaaaCO ToooTE!!!! good food. will add a couple complaints incase they read. Nachos- the queso no es bueno. I want cheese that doesnt come from a friggin can. That would make the Nachos much better, but every other restaraunt in laredo does, WTF puro Valle vato!!!!
Sorry San Antonio!. Some of the best tacos I ever had. Sirloin steak tacos were soft,tender, and very well seasoned. However, very pricey for tacos. But well worth it.
Best mexican tacos skirt steaks. Best place to eat great tasting fajita/brisket/chicken compared to other expensive places in town. I like that you can have avocado sauce, jalapenos, onion, celery, pico de gallo, and more as extra ingredients to your taco at your particular taste available at no cost great for tortilla chips. I think this place is way better than Taco Palenque and Palenque Grill especially for the price. Taco Tote also has rice and beans available. Taco Tote has great value by far compared to any other taco restaurant.
El Tacotote. Went by this place the other day and found it all decorated for Halloween. Great grilled chicken. Their barbacoa was just so so. The salsas they had were pretty good. The flour tortillas had a few too many burns on them. I liked their guacamole. Note, this place fills up fast in the late afternoon. Lots of people with their kids. Very reasonable price for what you get.
Great Parrilladas. This is used to be a family favorite for Sunday lunch. Their fajita parrilladas were loaded with meat, sausage, onions, peppers, beans, etc. and was always consistent. The atmosphere was/is always lively and their salsa/condiment bar was frequently stocked with fresh product — very important. Their quesadillas are really good, too. They by no means skimp on the cheese.
The food is very good and the serving size is plenty, but the vegetable bar could use some fresher ingredients.
