Normally, food and service are great. However, this mother’s day, everything was different. We waited nearly 1 hr and a half for our food. There were only 6 tables. Three plates came even later. My molcajete came without cheese, even though I has asked for some. 30 minutes later and almost done with my molcajete but still kind of waiting for it, I’m told they don’t have any. 10 minutes later and no molcajete left, they bring me my cheese. When I try to cancel or return it, I’m given an ugly face. My dad takes it and pays for it anyway to be nice. The waitresses are obviously annoyed with us because we are not happy with their service. Not our fault! When my husband and I leave and pay (still leaving $8 tip) my parents who stay behind are told we left without paying! A mini scandle breaks lose allegedly until it is confirmed that we did indeed pay. We are gone but my parents are embarassed with no need. Worst service, over priced, not the most outstanding food. If you’re gonna go, make sure you are the only table there. Maybe that will get you decent food and ok service. There’s one good waiter there; he knows we USED to be loyal customers. Too bad he wasn’t our waiter this time. They lost customers who spend almost $150 and left decent tips on a weekly basis on their rinkidink restaurant.

Love this intimate resturant ! We don’t have too many left . The food is yummy , the grilled white cheese with rajas and thier picadas are especially good .
