I really enjoyed my food and overall experience here. The menu had a large selection of items with a good combination of the familiar and unique. Unfortunately, it was packed when I went and the service was quite slow. In spite of this, I’d definitely go back.
Laredo foodie- good Mexican food.. Very good Mexican food. I went there last weekend with some friends. The noise level wast rather high and had trouble hearing. My friends ordered the beef skirt plate and the grilled fish fillet. I ordered the stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon and my wife ordered the beef kabobs. My shrimp was excellent with good flavor and not overcooked. My wife’s beef kabobs were very tender. My friends liked their food with no complaints. The service is very good even on crowded days. Food good, but overpriced. Service is good, but a bit slow. One of the better restaurants in Laredo, but service needs to improve to hire more people that speak English so gringo customers don’t feel uncomfortable, thus get their repeat business.
Needs training. We tryed to phone in a order twise and we were told they did not speak english and were hung up on. We could here them laughing in the back ground. All i could think of was they do not serve people unless they speak spanish. They both rude and prejudice. They should fire all of the management and start again.
Excellent Food and Atmosphere. The Tortilla Soup is fantastic. They did not skimp with the meat on the taco salad either. Service was a bit slow but they were very busy the night I was there. I will return to this restaurant next time I am in Laredo. Fun place to eat!
The food is the real winner. I agree with several commenters about the big price; two people can easily hit the $50-80 range real quick. Again, I also agree that the service is a hit or miss. I actually had one server argue with me about what I had ordered when he brought me the wrong plate. Rudeness.However, the food is excellent, and I don’t exaggerate when I say you can never order a wrong menu item. The food is that good!
