Originally from Sinaloa, Mexico and now a U.S. citizen, Don Pancho originally founded El Pollo Loco which was a success that led him to open his first Taco Palenque back in 1987 in Laredo, Texas. Taco Palenque is mainly known for its authentic Mexican tacos. It has become the ultimate place to spend time with family and friends while enjoying a meal. In fact, positive word of mouth has had a major impact on our satisfied customers. There are several Taco Palenque locations operating throughout the south region of Texas and are continuing to grow.
