This Palenque is a winner. The food is excellent and the service is great. Quality control is exceptional at this restaurant. There are many very good Tex-Mex options in Laredo. This Taco Palenque is as good as any. They draw large crowds and they move the line quickly. Never a disappointment here. Prices are reasonable too. Enjoy!
I don’t like TexMex but I love tacos. This place is legit and priced right.
Tex-Mex nirvana. This is where the locals go, where the Mex’s take their kids and the gringos come after drinking all night across the border. It’s all fresh fresh fresh and cheap compared to what passes for TexMex in the Great White North. The garnish bar is almost a meal in itself and the sauces are all home made. It’s open 24 hours, and it’s all good. Had my first michelada here, its basically a bloody mary made with light beer. Very refreshing from the 35-degree heat. We could eat all three meals a day here.
Probably the best chicken fajitas I’ve ever had. The food was so good it reminded me of visiting San Antonio. Absolutely delicious!
Insanely overpriced.. Seriously? There is a freaking taco bell in Laredo, Tx. Why is it here and continues to be here? Because the Palenque’s, both Taco and Grill, charge an insane amount for freaking tacos. Seriously, go screw yourselves.
Freight Dog Tradition. How can you not love this place? It is famous up north among cargo pilots. A lot of freight runs through Laredo, and hungry crews usually get a healthy helping of fajitas for the road. It is a sacred meal at our company. The pico is the best.
