Having read about Tacolare years back in Texas Monthly, I was never able to locate the restaurant. Not sure if my GPS was terrible, or I was just not paying attention. But, this week I was in Laredo and saw the taqueria right across from the mall. Everything here is so fresh. Some of the best salsa I’ve had. Chicken taco was great- juicy and tender. Language was a small barrier, but that’s to be expected in Laredo. Glad I finally found it!
I have followed this restaurant since its first location and I must say I think it has gotten better with the years. It’s new location has an intimate feel to it and the service, food and cleanliness is impeccable .
