Traveling through Midland and opted for Italian tonight. Cute place with Italian atmosphere, busy bustling place on a Saturday night.Service was attentive and spot on but it stopped here. Italian dishes-lasagna and spaghetti served piping hot but no flavor. Sauce was watery and needed some garlic, salt and Italian seasoning. I’m from NY and I know how Italian should taste and this wasn’t close.Try it perhaps it will improve!! missfoodiedelhi.wordpress.com
The people are very rude. the a/c is turned so low, you almost have to take a coat with you even in the summer. asked if they could adjust the a/c. their response was, it is set for the employees. heaven forbid their customers are comfortable!! you either get your pizza under done or burnt. it was very good a long time ago, but the management now needs to be replaced.
This is the worst food I think I’ve ever had. Not the worst Italian, the worst food. Avoid this place. Awful Awful
Luigi’s website menu. This menu is the worst. little to no information on the dishes. I didn’t even see a list of the pizzas. please elaborate your menu for those of us, who are not aware of what all the dishes entail.
The food tastes like it’s from a swansons TV dinner. Veal was poor quality meat, like shoe leather. Bread cold, salad marginal, marinara was Chef boy ardee quality at best. Steer clear.
I don’t understand all the negative reviews, but I guess people like whatever they are accustomed to. I’ve eaten at some fine restaurants throughout Italy and no it’s not the same as there or NYC, but food is still very good and we are proud to have Luigi’s in Midland. Deluxe spaghetti is really good and so is their house – made ranch dressing. Yep, ranch dressing is a must at a West Texas Italian place! Italian groom’s cake is wow!
A Local Will Take You. Usually local loves are the places to go, not the case here. The ONLY thing to order here is pizza. Period. Much, MUCH better food else where in town.
