Great brunch on Saturdays if you can get in.
First, don’t like the cig smoke …but it’s a bar so I accept it. Knew they allowed smoking. I went here due to friends recommendation. Got a patty melt. Wuff….not good. First time I have ever had to drench a patty melt in ketchup so I could eat it. It was literally the driest sandwich/burger I have EVER ate. The onion rings were pretty good though. Probably won’t be back. Not sure why people say their burgers are sooo good…they aren’t.
What a tragedy. The bar was awesome not to long ago. great enviornment great staff and good food. Burgers are the best!! but then they go an Hire The same lady that caused the Ranch to fail. As soon as she came aboard the food started to change the atmosphere changed and now i see it doing nothing but plummeting to the ground. I have personally met this woman when i was trying to get help with my ticket and she was rude and acted like what i said didnt matter. i know the owner scott is amazing and will bend over backwards for his customers but i haven’t seen him recently. i wont be back until Scott comes back thats for sure. this woman should be fired and hopefully she wont be allowed to ruin another good resturaunt. my buisness among many others will be taken elsewhere.
This little joint just may be the best place in Midland. Their brunch is absolutely phenomenal and their bloody Mary’s are perfect. You wouldn’t expect it, but they have an extremely good steak. Great atmosphere – lots of vintage signs and autographed sports memorabilia. Can’t wait to go back!
Homey space for a bar. I lovek this bar. I especially love the bear that stands in the corner. Not tha that has anything to do with drinking but it’s cool.
Great hangout with good food.. I’ll admit – I’ve taken my grandmother to eat here. Although The Bar is a local hotspot at night, the food is really very good. If you can grab a table on the covered porch or patio area, you’re in for a gastronomic treat. The Queso Burger is messy, drippy, and all-around great. The Saturday brunch has pretty much become a staple for when out-of-town guests arrive – the French Toast is great, as are the Eggs Benedict. The portions are good, the food is great, the drinks are even better (I hate tomatoes and I will drink their Bloody Mary!!). Another don’t miss are the Texas Toothpicks, slivers of jalapenos and onions fried to perfection for dipping in ranch dressing. Don’t be fooled by the humble beer-joint feel, this place is definitely one of the best places to eat in Midland
