Nice Afternoon Lunch. We were looking for a place to eat and two customers out on the patio figured it out and told us the place had excellent food and reasonable prices and that is usually a good sign, so… that’s exactly what we found, excellent food, reasonable prices, good service, interesting interior with an old tin ceiling, but clean… lots of wood, we both had salads with well-crafted dressings. The tortilla soup was perfect. My fish sandwich was really great. Glad we took their advice.

Great Burger and Old School atmosphere. I love this space. I love their burger. Good fries. Haven’t had anything else. Yet. Went for lunch on a workday so can’t speak about the booze element, but the next trip will entail alcohol and hopefully a band. Regardless, this is classic two-story old downtown building, hardwood floors, dark, and just the right amount of grit. I love it.
This bar used to be one of my favorite places to go. However, I have had issues with the service and the quality of food perfection. Don’t dare express you dislike anything here because you will quickly receive an attitude along with even poorer service. I will not be returning to city tavern and recommend no one else to as well. I’ll be sure to let everyone know about the poor and unprofessional service to expect when stoping in at this bar.

Great Bar. Laid back in the heart of Historic Down town. Good prices and fun atmosphere. You can pay a cover to see bands upstairs or downstairs is fun too.
