Nice ambience in this rotating restaurant 50 floors above ground. Im guessing views at lunch will be better than at dinner. They had 3 types of tasting menus. The problem is they would not tell you what would be included in the tasting until it reached our table. Chefs choice they said. So we decided to order our own array for tasting rather than leave it to chance (or the slowest moving dishes of the day). The food is Asian fusion. For starters the suckling pig, scallops, lobster, steak, salmon sashimi were all small dishes but delicious. The beef ribs were very much the standard BBQ beef ribs. The duckling was nice but super greasy even for a duck dish. The desserts werent anything much. Good selection of beverages and nice service. Will definitely go back.
Good view (not at very height though) revolving restaurant. Food is okay, not great though. Tried mushroom soft noodles. Relatively Limited food options available
This was my first visit to a Chuy’s, but I’d heard such good things about the place. We visited on a Friday before the lunch rush. We were greeted and seated immediately. A short time later, we were presented with the traditional chips, but the salsa was different – in a good way. Chuy’s salsa is a fresh salsa – fresh chopped tomatoes, onions, and the right amount of spice. We also ordered queso- very delicious – taste is similar to Torchy’s Tacos salsa. I ordered the Baja Tacos with grilled shrimp and Chuy’s famous creamy jalapeno ranch dip on the side. Overall an excellent lunch trip. We’ll definitely be back!Tip: A great review covers food, service, and ambiance. Got recommendations for your favorite dishes and drinks, or something everyone should try here? Include that too! We made a reservation for this restaurants months in advance, requesting a window. Please be advised this restaurant has a strict business casual attire policy. Our server Josh made some great recommendations and was very informative about the restaurant. We had tempura crab rolls and dumplings which were incredible. The sushi was good but portions were small and pricey. Our oldest son had the lamb which seems to melt in your mouth with a decadent sauce. Our youngest had the chicken which he devoured. Both me and my husband had the Grilled Redfish which was a taste sensation. For dessert the boys split the chocolate souffl which they highly recommend. My husband had Banana Baked Alaska which was truly delicious. We made reservations for 7pm and saw the city during the day,at sunset, and then the glorious lights. The romantic ambiance, to die for view, spot on service and delicious creative food all made for a truly memorable evening. This is a dining experience which will take at least 2 hours. If you are in a hurry this is not for you. Appetizers cost about $16-$17 and entres $28-$57. We will definitely do this again next time we are in Dallas. Great way to experience Dallas on your first night. Very romantic ambiance for couples but also works well with kids. We highly recommend this restaurant experience, a must do. romikaweb.wordpress.com

We were celebrating our friend college graduation. He asked to go this Restaraunt as a treat and it was one of the best dining experiences our family has ever had . We chose the 7 course tasting menu that has an Asian flare that was delicious! Favorites were theChef’s Fuji’s Sushi Tasting especially the CHU Toro Nigiri; Five Sixty Dim Sum the Crispy shrimp and lobster spring roll and the Tamarino Glazed Pork Spare Ribs: The Crispy Texas Quail unbelievable: Pork Belly Bao amazing flavors: just to name some! Really every food item in the tasting was perfection. We wanted to treat our boys to this dining experience! We also ask for the sommelier to choose our wine for dinner. Ian did a perfect job! We had him choose a sparkling wine, white, and a red! He really nailed it. We loved each one and intend on purchasing all for home. The servers were awesome and always taking great care of us. Truly a wonderful evening with great food, wine, service, view, but mostly great family time.
We’ve been to this restaurant 4-5 times over the last 18 months and each time I’ve been surprised at how consistently good the service and food are. To be honest, I expected a menu much more targeted to tourists given the location at the top of the Hyatt on a rotating platform! But we took my mother in law there this week and it once again was wonderful! The Asian inspired menu has a lot to offer. In fact this time, we ordered 6-7 appetizers so my mother in law could try lots of different things. The spring rolls, wagyu beef pot stickers, lacquered ribs, pork buns, lettuce cups and combo rice were high quality and really delicious. My mom-in-law’s favorite was the ribs! Our waiter RJ, who professed to really love his job, showed it. He managed which items were presented when, explained why and encouraged us to ask for him when we return. We will!We arrived around 630p, saw the sun set and downtown Dallas light up – all great photo ops! While the restaurant is on open table, prime time spots don’t seen to available via the app, so a call yields better availability. theglobetrotterfoodie.wordpress.com
