NM Cafe is a short 5 minute walk from my downtown office. Beyond the great proximity the food options here are creative and fun. I met an old friend there today and the environment was great to catch up in. Not too loud or anything. I had the BLTA today. BLT with Avocado! Came with a small side of fruit and some baked chips. While the chips were a little over cooked, the fruit was fresh and flavorful. The BLTA was great. Not too big and cumbersome, just the right size in my opinion.11/10/15 visited again for lunch. Turkey Club this time. Genesis the waitress was great and fast. I’m here during a jury trial at Earle Cabell building and this is a good short walk. 5-7 minutes from there. Definitely destroys the options by the federal building.
