I am a diehard fan of all the Palm restaurants. Dallas being my second favorite compared to Las Vegas in the Caesars forum shops. Cocktails are always superb as well as the service. The 3 lb lobster was on the house because I am part of the 837 club and every year the Palm thanks me for my loyalty. If you enjoy carrot cake, theirs is to die for. Be careful the portion is huge! Made for sharing!
Restaurant Week ’12. We went here w/friends during Restaurant Week, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service/atmosphere. They had more than one promotion going on, so that did make things a bit weird for the wait staff…The 6 oz. filet had to be the best I have had anywhere in years, and the overall food we ate was well worth the evening and price. We are looking forward to a return trip minus the special menus.
Great cooking!. I came here only for drinks at the bar but it was a great time. Though there are only two seats at the bar, my brother and I were able to get them. The bartender is super nice and the glenfiddich pours are super generous. I highly recommend drinks here after work if you are in the area!
Over priced, Poor quality food. I have tried all the top rated steak houses in the area and Palm was by far the worst. Six out of seven steaks were over cooked and one was burned. Although the prices were higher than all the other steak houses in the area, the steak quality was just mediocre . Palm has it’ own older crowd customers who don’t like changes so they support this place. Things to remember are order Medium if you like Med well, $16 for Vodka and Soda was ridiculous. The service was great and the sides were delicious but that’s about it. With those prices, you’ll be much happier at Nick & Sams, Al Biernat’s or Papas Bros.
Impeccable service. We drive in from 2 hours away to eat at the Palm. We are never disappointed with the excellent service we receive. Love the food. My wife really enjoys the lobster and my personal favorite is the filet. Without a doubt, our favorite restaurant.
5lb lobster, devine. Steak, lobster, and great cocktails.Service was suburb as well!
Lunch with My Wife. I went here with huge expectations, because my 1st experience with a Palm was at the one at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which was stellar! Parking was Valet, so that was easy. It was a little busy, so we had to wait about 10 minutes, which was not bad. It started with the waiter, who clearly wanted us to get the special of the day (which I don’t recall at this point.) What we wanted was to split a Caesars Salad and a Grilled Chicken sandwich. Its lunch, trying to eat lite. Well this CLEARLY irritated the waiter. (He was wondering how this Richardson trailer trash had gotten into his restaurant.) He tersely noted our order, and turned and left. No drink order. We had water thanks to the bus boy. When he passed us again, we stated we would like a drink. Said he’d be right back. 10 minutes – no waiter. At this point, I got up and went to the front and calmly asked to speak to the manager. The hostess informed me that the manager was out on an errand. I explained my predicament, and was told this was a matter for the manager. I thanked her, gathered my wife, and walked down the street to the Hoffbrau Steak House, where we had a very enjoyable lunch. I later wrote a short letter to the manager explaining our experience, but never heard anything back. This was just my experience, and I know others have had great meals here, but this is Dallas. We have LOTS of GREAT steak houses here, which I will patronize.
