1994 was our first visit to Spaghetti Warehouse in Oklahoma City. I took my girlfriend at the time for her 21st birthday. Through the years that girlfriend, now wife, and I enjoyed birthday dinners, anniversary dinners, special dates nights, and other family events at the OKC Spaghetti Warehouse. The location was full of important memories from our life together. Sadly the OKC location closed last year. This past weekend my wife and I traveled to Dallas for our 20th wedding anniversary. A trip which included a surprise romantic dinner at the Dallas Spaghetti Warehouse. The #1 best dining experience we have ever had. I contacted the restaurant several weeks in advance to confirm our reservations. When I spoke with them I explained the occasion and had a couple of requests. Since I was out of state I wondered if they could help. I asked for a table for two, out of the hustle and bustle of the busy restaurant, and a single rose on the table. I was contacted back via email and followed up with a phone call from Kristin the operations marketing support manager. We talked about the occasion and she asked a few questions. She was extremely helpful and I trusted she was going to get my special requests taken care of. WOW!!! The experience was so far above and beyond anything I anticipated. We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly host. I told him my name and reservation time. He proceeded to say yes sir, please follow me. As we followed him, we were led upstairs. The stair banister was wrapped in purple, my wife’s favorite color. There were also purple balloons at the top of the stairs. When we reached the top of the stairs we were amazed to see a single set table in the middle of the gazebo. Happy anniversary hanging on the wall. Chilled champagne on the table. Balloons, streamers, candles, a chalk board with Happy 20th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Harvey written on it. A dozen roses and music overhead playing 80’s love songs, again my wifes favorite. The first sight of this was overwhelming. I requested a single rose and a table out of the way, we ended up with a floor to ourselves and an atmosphere that couldn’t have been matched by a 5 star restaurant. We were introduced to several people, including my hero Kristin. They were genuinely happy to have been a part of our day. They gave us a few minutes to walk around and soak it all in. Our server returned and popped open the Champaign for us. We took a few minutes to go over the menu and I decide on the Turin Trio, Amazing 15 layer lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana, and Fettuccini Alfredo! Absolutely delicious, everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were just like I remembered. My wife ordered her favorite the grilled chicken alfredo, she loved it! For desert we chose the Italian donut bites with Nutella. Our Server Edward was very professional, friendly, and took care of our every need.Everything about this dining experience was 5 star, the atmosphere, the service, the food, and most importantly the customer service. The new slogan for the company is Celebrating life with you, I couldnt have been more pleased to have them celebrating with us.
I love the Spaghetti Warehouse, but recently this place has gone downhill. A couple months ago, my boyfriend and I went to the Spaghetti Warehouse in Dallas. We were seated, but after our drink orders got placed, it took almost 30 minutes for our server to get our food orders. Also we had no silverware on our table. The floors were EXTREMELY dirty, once we got our food, we had no silverware, so the only thing I could use was my spoon from my soup. Finally another ten minutes later, we got silverware. My friend and I were in the area last night, and we decided to give it one last try. We were seated, but once again we placed our drink orders, and almost thirty minutes later our food order was taken. Not to mention our silverware was dirty. The servers are very slow at taking orders, and we almost left after we got our drink orders. I would suggest going to the one in Arlington, it’s much nicer, cleaner, and it doesn’t have a weird smell when you walk into the building. If all else fails, just go to Olive Garden.
This has been a long time favorite, it’s cool to see The West End transforming. The food is always tasty and the environment is welcoming. I’m treating treating my friends from The English Language Institute from Texas A&M Commerce; 7 people from 5 different countries!
The place was very crowded so you can tell it is loved by many. It did not take us long to get our seats and I enjoyed my food. You have to get the carafe of sangria for $12!
We have been here a few times, my mother loves the place. The last time we were there they got our party of 4s food all wrong. It tastes like bland Italian food nothing special. The interior need to have a deep clean done on it. If your in the mood for causual Italian I would recommend campisi’s over this any day.
Not the kind of place I’d choose but was in town with a group so… Let’s start by agreeing with the comments on the smell. Also agree on the salad and mediocre food. The low rating is on point. We were here on a weekday at 1:30, the place was empty. Dallas has some of my favorite restaurants, most everywhere I’ve tryed has been at least decent. This place breaks that streak in the worst way.
Disappointing. I really want to like Spaghetti Warehouse but they just will not allow it. I work steps away from the location in Downtown Dallas. After several interruptions, I placed my Togo order for the Fast Lunch Lasagna that was 12:26 and 12:58 I was out the door with my order.
