Yumm Yumm. I had dinner here recently when in Dallas on a business trip and it was good. I started with the bacon wrapped, chicken stuffed jalapeno poppers. They were very good. Then i had the boneless short ribs. Awesome, actually. Lots of flavor and very tender. Yumm.
Having stayed at the Adolphus many times I’ve visited this establishment a few times to say the least. Food is hit and miss but here is the run down:Burger- Solid choice and a safe betSteak Sandwhich- the meat was so terrible I would have thought it was a treat I’d give my dog Braised short ribs- decent but a little too salty. Skirt Steak- only served on the lunch menu (?) but was certainly the best thing I’ve had there and the reason I kept going back hoping something else would be that good.
Okay. For such a fabulous hotel this bar & grill leaves much to be desired. Ordinary pasta – ordinary rolls……….perhaps I was expecting too much of this grill since it’s a part of the Adolphus. Service was very good. Peanuts on floor can be slippery. How about having directions at the door to the restaurant from inside the hotel so a person doesn’t have to go looking for someone to seat them.
Great Staff. Fun place to hang out after a long day adn get that Texas vibe!
