This is a good lunch spot! Almost all of the tacos are good picks and the chicken quesadilla is great! We happened to pop in here for a long lunch on national margarita day, definitely grab one if you get the chance! The atmosphere is great for a lunch with coworkers and would also be a good spot for date night!
Only been here a handful of times, but the food is consistently good. I sat down at the bar today and John, the bartender, asked if we wanted to try a new cocktail he was creating. It was a watermelon margarita that was exceptionally exquisite, the perfect summer beverage. They were also very accommodating when I requested black beans in the wild queso instead of the chorizo to make it vegetarian. Superb service
Drinks for a co-worker celebration. Had the frozen margarita which was tasty. Kept sipping all evening. What we really loved was the chips & green salsa – the guacamole – and the winner: the blanco queso. It was so tasty. Not spicy but had a little kick. Very flavorful. The chips were homemade, thin with the right amount of crunch & salt. The only way I like ’em. Perfect spot for drinks & apps downtown.
Stopped by for lunch – great tacos! Super quick service, we were done and out in 35 minutes. Had the queso and tacos (shrimp and beef) – food was pretty good! They were handing out ice cream/ popsicles at the door while the guests left – simple but effective gesture as you step out into the heat!
I enjoy Wild Salsa every time I go. Their tacos are always fresh and small so I can indulge in different flavors on one plate. This time, however, I opted for the rice and bean addition to my tacos. There were 2 equally small square bowls and even though it was a refreshing addition, in total, it’s was a SIX DOLLAR upgrade. Math – 2 more tacos. Lesson learned. I’ll still go but I’ll just get one extra taco instead because who doesn’t want more tacos?
Wild Salsa in located right in the heart of Downtown Dallas. Umm, why did I wait so long to try this place? Their ingredients are simple and fresh, the salsa is quite tangy made from tomatillos!! Amazing. I suggest the Wild Queso. My boyfriend and I tried the combination fajitas as well as each of their tacos. I suggest trying the frozen El Flamenco margarita is awesome and has a popsicle dipped in it! My boyfriend and I ranted and raved to our friends and family and will certainly be back for more!!
Loved the atmosphere here! Authentic Mexican food with a big selection of fun, strong drinks from the bar. Chic, Mexican decor with beautiful sugar skulls all over.
