Great food. The botana was recently priced and the service is great. It was recommended to me and now I would recommend also.
Name Change. This place used to be called Crusitas Kitchen but about 3 years ago they changed the name to JC’s.It’s the same owner and menu. Only the prices have changed.There’s a picture of JC himself on the back wall in a painting of The Last Supper. It’s next to the large round table.
Like it. A very good place to eat; the food quality is consistently good and the prices are lower than average, plus good servers. And they don’t mind if we share our meals (there is no surcharge). A dinner for two is around $20 or less. I hope that JC’s will be here for a long time.
My grandmothers hands!. There is a memory within me that speaks to me every time I go to this restaurant. My Grandmothers hands. Having been raised by my grandparents, throughout the summer, school years, college, as I got home the scents escaping their house were a roller coaster to my palette. Before walking in the screen door my palette knew what it was in for, and preparing these meals, my grandmothers hands. As I open the doors to this modest restaurant the same emotions tingle through out me, everything is good here, and more than that, it’s authentic!
