Our first clue should have been that the only other table with customers was a fifteen top of El Paso electric linemen who all, to a man, ordered cheeseburgers. This is a Mexican restaurant. The soup was very clearly a Knorr brand instant, just add water and you have a bowl of liquid sadness. We ordered two different types of variety plates so we could get an idea of what they have. Nothing and I mean nothing good there. There was NO heat, NO seasoning, not even salt and it all just kinda tasted, eh. The one upside was the waitress. She was very attentive and friendly. The saddest part was watching someone step out the side door from the kitchen, get a smoke in plain view and fiddle with has nose (not a pick, just rubbed the hell out of that sucker) and head back into the kitchen. Let’s just hope he washed his hands in there. Wink.
