When your drink order takes 10 minutes to arrive, you have to ask the waitress 3 times for chips & salsa and your food doesn’t arrive for 35 minutes it probably isn’t a place I’ll be returning to!!! It’s was a disappointing experience!! :(25 Jul, 2013The food is very tasty but the service is seriously lacking!!! It also took quite a while to get our food and the place wasn’t all that busy.
Ay, no mames!. Was headin to lunch to try out the new Jason’s Deli and there was a ridiculous line so coworkers opted for this instead. The queso fundido w/ jalapenos was decent (not great) and their famous tacos al pastor were a flavorless, greasy and terrible mess. What’s with no one being able to make good tacos a pastor (DF style) in this whole borderland area? Don’t be fooled people, what flies for al pastor around here is nothing more than pork adobado…. True al pastor seasonings are very complex (savory, fragrant, and even some sweet spices mixed in) and are grilled on the spit w/ pineapple. Damn I miss those street tacos from down south!
The food is ok, typical Mexican food but I did have the beef flautas. The other menu items looked tasty but seeing as I was short on time I got the comida corrida. Which took over 45 minutes in order for my flautas to arrive. The service was awful. I walked in at the same time as someone else and the got their food and left before I even got my food. It was very disappointing. My tea was never refilled and I was never asked if my meal was ok. I will definitely not come here again or suggest it to anyone. Very dissappointed.
