  Price Change. I decided to go with Cake Gallery due to the high ratings. I moved to El Paso from Seattle so I went purely off of reviews of the shop. My husband and I are celebrating our first year anniversary so I wanted to order a cake. When I went into the shop, the owners sister took my order. I picked out the flavor, filling and size. I also emailed pictures of my wedding cake so they would match. I decided to do a tasting of a few flavors to determine if I should go with the marble cake. I went in today and the owner was there. She asked me what type of filling I wanted for the marble cake. I explained to her that I had already ordered a cake. I asked her to review my order to double check the flavor I chose. She became very rude and asked me when I ordered it. I informed her I was there earlier in the month. She went to the back and brought back a stack of disorganized receipts. She ruffled through the orders, however she was unable to locate my order? I let her know that when I called in to schedule the tasting, the man I spoke with was able to find my order. I advised her I had sent pictures of the cake to her email address. She logged into her account and located the email with pictures of my wedding cake. I also showed her the receipt I received when I paid for the cake. I completed the tasting and decided to go with the marble cake. The owner began writing up a new receipt and advised me that the total was now $15 more than what I had paid. I told her I had already reviewed what I wanted with her sister and I asked her WHY I would need to pay more? I advised her that I would not pay more when I was given a price for the cake earlier. She was very short and said ok..I will give you a credit. I am totally disgusted by the owners professionalism, curt responses and refusal to honor the price that was originally given to me. How unorganized is this company where you place an order and you lose the order…write up a new order and change the price? This is unprofessional and not how you run a business. I will NOT be referring this to any of my friends…consider this one less customer who is determined to spread the word about this establishment.

  What a wonderful place to go if you love great quality cakes. What I love best is this place does not use fondant she uses butter cream icing which she creates to resembles fondant but with a great taste and beautiful artwork. I have ordered cakes and cookies and she has made them delicious, moist, and personal to your event. Love this place

  I have come twice during their posted hours and they are closed. Not worth going a third time!!
