Tried this place for the first time tonight trying to find a good local restaurant and we found the worst. I can sum this place up in one sentence, overpriced dog food. It supposedly had meat in it but all we saw was gray paste. We had tacos and something else because they were out of everything else. The only edible part of this meal was the rice and salsa. Prices didn’t match the menu online at all. We fed the food to our dog and had pizza instead. Do yourself a favor and go eat at taco bell, it will be cheaper and taste so much better.
Worst food in El Paso. Tried this place for the first time tonight trying to find a good local place and found the worst. Had good reviews and online menu looked good…. Boy can looks be wrong. Overpriced dog food is a more accurate description. Gray paste that was supposedly beef… Do yourself a favor and go to taco bell before this place . you’ll save money and be able to finish your meal instead of giving it to your dog like we had to
Hot Tamale on Montwood :). For years, my family & I would just pick up some tamales to go…then a good friend of mine actually took us inside to dine. It’s a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, and the service can be hit or miss…BUT I really like the affordable lunch specials and taste of the food. We’ve tried the flautas, enchiladas, tacos, gorditas…but our favorites are the tamales and flautas…the rice & beans are pretty good, too…not too soggy or dry.
