Bad food. My coworkers and I frequently go to this restaurant but after today, we will never go there again. We got some concoction that the owner said was albondiga soup. I will tell you, it was horrible! She boiled frozen Italian meatballs and mixed them with caldo de res and some canned tomato sauce. Both my coworker and I return it and requested it be replaced with caldo de res, the waitress went back to the kitchen twice and finally my coworker asked for the owner to come out. The cook who is also the owner came out and was insulted that we had not liked her soup. She said she made the albondigas separately and that they were made with turkey meat. She told us we had to pay even though we had left the food intact. She stormed to the front area garbage can and dumped our food right in front of the customers. After a few minutes we got up and left the money for the iced tea on the counter. The cashier said the owner was fixing us caldo and my coworker said not to bother. She wanted us to pay for that food and also for the replacement. She’s not only a bad cook but also a bad manager 🙁

This resturant is very well run and the food is wholesome and delicous they aren’t using any gimics and they support the community not to mention the great service they are actually happy to have customers not like its some burden for you to be there. As the saying goes when in doubt follow the people. I’ll be back and often.
Tasteless. I went here for lunch and I was super excited because of the lunch special and it had the hole in the wall feel. My order came with a soup, two chicken tacos, and a dessert. The soup was delicious and the rest of the meal was subpar. The tacos had super dry chicken with absolutely no taste to it. The dessert was some kind of pudding that resembled the Jello you can buy ready made at the grocery store. I am not coming back here.
