Great new place to eat for breakfast. The huevos con chorizo were delicious, and the chile on the huevos rancheros was freshly roasted, the cheese tasted like cheese!!Most definetly be back got dinner.

Delicious and tasty!. Love this place, the chile Colorado plate was very good. I’ve had both versions of their fish tacos, very tasty; stuffed with avocadoes and other goodies. Their service is excellent. The food comes out very fast! (nice and hot) and every one is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend it!

I first went to LP because a review in the EP Times piqued my interest. That visit did not disappoint. Both the food and the service were fine, though the meal was pricey. I ordered what the critic recommended. I can’t say the same for my second visit. I ordered what they call tortilla soup which is supposed to come with shredded cheese and avocado. Shredded chicken is offered for an added charge. What arrived at my table was a bowl of clear chicken broth with tortilla chips on the side and a bunch of unseasoned dried out (yes, I said dried out, which is quite a feat as it was swimming in broth) chewey chicken floating in the broth. No cheese. No avocado. The chicken was simply torn off the bone in huge pieces and thrown into the broth. It was pretty awful. I asked the waiter if this was maybe the chicken caldo which would have been pretty bad if it was, but he said no. Sad thing is he had recommended the soup, which is what decided me on placing the regretful order for the $10.00 bowl of broth. Further, not once was a drink refill offered. I sent the broth back and will probably not be returning. Too expensive for such hit and miss food and service.

Decent breakfast spot.. This new restaurant located in this shopping center in the space once occupied by Gil’s, is a big improvement over Gil’s. It has decent food (especially breakfast), good prices, great service, and a nice upscale decor and feel to it. The menudo while tasty was very greasy however.
