Sushi on the move!. Craving a sushi lunch but have no time for a sit down w/ hot green tea at a Japanese restaurant? …no prob, hit up the MoshiBox for that quick fix! Had the good fortune to be their first official paying customer at their grand opening location across from Del Sol medical center and I was pleasantly surprised. Their rolls were tastier and prepared better than many of the sit down mexi-sushi joints that dot the town. They have a larger than expected menu with a variety of rolls at great prices. The spicy tuna hand roll was right on with a perfect amount of sauce and big fresh chunks of tuna sashimi and as good or better than I’ve had at many restaurants. The diablo roll was also spicy tuna filled and then rolled in a dry spice mix (togarashi) which I also really liked. The third roll I tried had eel on the inside and thin mango slices outside and was drizzled with a mango syrup?…. I’m more of a spicy and savory kind of guy so the two tuna rolls were hands down my favorites. Though the mango roll was a bit sweet for me, it was creative and for others it might be just their cup of tea. Looking forward to a second visit and trying more of their rolls in the near future.
